About this Position: We are currently looking to add to our team an exciting opportunity as an Analyst for Accounting Integration in the Acrisure Business Services Accounting department.
The Analyst role will be a strong supporting partner to the team, preparing earnout review files and analysis, initial opening balance sheet for newly acquired agency partners and agency management system data review and cleanup, The ideal candidate must be hands on, have excellent organizational and people management skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
We are a relationship-oriented business, and strong relationship and partnering skills are vital to this role.
Previous work experience as an Analyst or in accounting is required, and experience in the insurance brokerage or a related industry is preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with the preparation of earnout review files and analysis on a monthly basis Assist with accounting onboarding for Acrisure Partners in ABS, by preparing the opening balance sheet as needed.
Perform system reconciliations and recording journal entries related to system clean-up.
Assist with reconciliation of balance sheet accounts as it relates to opening balance sheet, earnouts or conversion beginning balances.
Assist with special reporting requests of Acrisure Partners in ABS and ad hoc corporate reporting needs.
Provide additional support as needed to accounting team members in ABS.
Promotes a collaborative team environment while motivating themselves and their peers for strong results and quality work.
Follows up on projects and team assignments and holds others accountable for their internal deadlines and administrative responsibilities.
Provides clear and timely instruction, leading to efficient production and limited need for rework.
Identifies unresolved issues that need correction/further exploration and determines the necessary corrective action plan.
Regularly communicates with Platform Accounting, Regional Accounting & Agency Accounting Operations teams, appropriately escalating issues and concerns to Manager.
Provide prompt, accurate, courteous, “best in class” service to partners, insurance companies, leadership team and all staff.

Maintains a professional demeanor and positive attitude Education/Experience: Bachelors degree or the recognized equivalent in education and experience, preferred.
Minimum (3) three years of experience in an accounting, auditing and/or financials analysis required.
Insurance brokerage/related industry accounting background, preferred.
Prior experience with balance sheet reconciliations required.
Technology: Applied and Vertafore platforms or similar agency management software experience, preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Workday experience is a plus.
