Desktop Support Technician II - IT

*What we are looking for:* The *Desktop Support Specialist *is responsible for system, desktop and applications support; software and hardware maintenance; troubleshooting; desk phone and mobile maintenance and support; and other duties as requested.
*Responsibilities:* * Log, prioritize and resolve helpdesk tickets in accordance with company policy * Troubleshoot errors with desktop applications and hardware * Support and troubleshoot conferencing systems in support of systems engineer * Perform software and desktop hardware upgrades * Deploy, support, and troubleshoot mobile devices * Setup and maintain all end user applications, including Microsoft Office suite and other business applications * Plan and set-up of equipment * Troubleshoot errors with on-site and off-site clinical systems and applications, using additional internal or external resources when necessary * Respond to desktop and end user security incidents in support of Security Team * Promote a culture of security awareness within the end user community * Perform system checks and back-ups * Maintain user instructions *Requirements:* * An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (or related) field OR equivalent experience * Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate help desk or desktop support role * Ability to provide excellent customer service to end users with varying degrees of technical knowledge * Excellent problem solving and analytical skills * Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft applications * Competency with Nerf Gun Operations *What’s great about working for STARS?* * *Important Work*-Because of the great behind the scenes work that you do- our company can provide outstanding radiology services to so many patients in Michigan.
