The Noble Truck Driver is responsible for safely transporting goods to designated destinations, ensuring timely deliveries, performing shipping and receiving tasks, handling raw material receipts, and managing inventory for improved inventory accuracy.
Effective communication, compliance with regulations, and prioritizing safety are also key aspects of this role.
Location: Noble Polymers (4855 37th St.
SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49512) Shift: 1st Shift (Monday – Thursday from 5am -3:10pm) Target Pay: $17.

33 / hour What You’ll Be Doing Drives Company truck to destination Is responsible for the condition of their vehicle (Keeps truck clean and in good working order) Inspects material to ensure it has been loaded correctly and is secure Load and unload shipments in accordance with schedules, ensuring that all items are securely packed and properly positioned for transport Verifies the accuracy of shipping requests and pre-shipper records, and maintains accurate records of inventory levels and discrepancies.
Notifies scheduling of any issues or concerns Ships customer orders Campus-wide and potentially externally Understands receiving and shipping schedules internally Assists with staging customer orders for shipping, as well as proper documentation and labeling Assists with Warehouse Management Staging of Raw materials ensuring FIFO Understands Inventory Accuracy Helps with logistics needs and arrangements with the Cascade Engineering Logistics Manager when necessary Takes an active role in root cause determination and problem solving pertaining to S&R as necessary Understands and complies with all regulatory standards (DOT, OSHA, and other applicable legislation) Understands and complies with company policies and procedures including ISO 14001 and Financial practices Regularly communicates with S&R Tech to ensure warehouse needs are met timely Performs truck and trailer PM’s daily and communicates any issues to materials Manager Perform all other duties as assigned At Cascade Engineering, we welcome and celebrate diversity and inclusion.
