Summary: Grand Valley State is a public comprehensive institution with approximately 21,000 undergraduate and graduate students.
The exercise science program is contained within the Movement Science Department on the Allendale campus, with approximately 900 undergraduate students across three different emphasis areas—Exercise Physiology & Sports Performance, Physical Activity & Health, and Exercise Science in Healthcare.
Required Qualifications: A minimum of a MS/MA in exercise science or a closely related field is essential.
Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the college and/or university level, and commitment to professional growth.
Experience in, demonstrated understanding of, or interest in social justice education and/or initiatives, and/or inclusion, diversity, and/or intercultural training.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, such as the ability to interact with others with respect and empathy.
