Cedar Springs Public Schools invites devoted educators to apply to serve as a long-term substitute teacher starting approximately May 6 and running through June 6, 2024.
The courses being taught will be Algebra II and Statistics.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create a classroom environment that fosters individuality, curiosity, and a passion for learning.
Develop lesson plans and instructional materials and adapt the curriculum to meet the individual needs of each student through differentiated instruction
Establish effective, positive relationships with students, parents, teachers, other support staff, and administrators
Apply sound principles of learning and motivation in the planning, implementation, and assessment phases of instructional delivery
Utilize a variety of quality classroom management techniques to maintain a highly productive learning environment
Collaborate with grade-level members in planning curriculum, units, and classroom lessons
Commit to the district’s school improvement process and curriculum development effort
QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid Michigan Secondary Teaching Certificate with an endorsement in math (EX) is preferred
A high degree of knowledge in teaching at the secondary level
Knowledge of and ability to apply the Michigan Content Standards provided by MDE
Ability to apply technology integration to promote student learning
Ability to communicate well at various levels with students, parents, and school personnel
Ability to analyze assessment data to plan student intervention
Evidence of a positive attitude and human relation skills
Evidence of high standards of ethics, honesty, and integrity in personal and professional matters
High level of flexibility
REPORTS TO: Building Principal
START/END DATE: As early as approximately mid-March through possibly the beginning of June.
SALARY RANGE: $150/day (Must be a current employee of EduStaff or willing to become an employee of EduStaff)
