As the head coach, you will be responsible for leading and developing our Esports program, fostering a positive and inclusive team culture, and guiding our student-athletes to success both in and out of the virtual arena.
Responsibilities: - Develop and implement a comprehensive Esports program that aligns with the school's values and objectives.
- Plan and conduct regular practice sessions, focusing on skill development, strategy, and teamwork.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to student-athletes, emphasizing sportsmanship, discipline, and academic excellence.
- Collaborate with school administrators, parents, and other stakeholders to promote and support the Esports program.
- Manage team logistics, including scheduling, transportation, and equipment maintenance.
- Stay informed about the latest trends, strategies, and developments in Esports to enhance the team's competitive edge.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team environment that promotes diversity, equity, and respect among all team members.
Qualifications: Previous coaching experience, preferably in Esports or a related field.
Strong knowledge of popular Esports titles and their respective competitive scenes.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes to achieve their full potential.
Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive team culture.
Knowledge of high school athletics policies and regulations.
