Dive Team Coach / Lifeguard

*Position* Dive Team Coach / Lifeguard *Direct Report* Director of Membership & Events *Indirect Report* Director of Clubhouse & Culinary *Job Summary* Blythefield Country Club is seeking a detail-oriented individual with a passion for swim and dive coaching.
Candidates should be able to work various shifts to include weekends and holidays.
Previous experience in a country club is desired but not required.
Position is seasonal from Memorial Day – Labor Day.
This is an hourly 20-40 hour position per week.
Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations * Ability to plan, organize, schedule and manage all phases of the club’s dive team program.
* Knowledge of and ability to perform all required duties in emergency situations.
Job Summary (Essential Functions) Coach club’s dive team.
Job Tasks/Duties * Schedules and attends practice sessions for the dive team.
* Organizes all aspects of dive meets.
* Attends and participates in the club’s coaches’ meetings.
* Maintains presence during swim and dive team events.
* Performs other tasks as required by Swimming Pool Manager.
Licenses and Special Requirements * Must have current Red Cross Lifeguard Certificate.
* American Red Cross Basic First Aid required, training on AED units and possession of a current Red Cross CPR card.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Seasonal Pay: $14.
