*Summary:* Provide support to students, host families, coordinators, overseas agents, and other external/internal clients during the exchange period.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*: include the following.
However, other duties may be assigned: * Address conflicts between students, host families and field staff.
* Provides informal counseling and orientation regarding cultural differences, personal adjustments and issues between students, host families, and field staff, Reports to Overseas Agents.
* Gathers and investigates facts for reported incidents and determines the course of action as an objective liaison.
* Maintains a goal to resolve issues before they become a relocation by implementing positive action plans for observed misunderstandings, attitudes or behavioral issues.
* Enforces the organization's students and host family policies and procedures.
* Create and maintain student cases, noting all issues and communicating with all affected parties.
* Oversees the student's early arrival, extension, departure and program release process from start to approval.
*Supervisory Responsibilities:* This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

*Qualifications:* *A HIGH LEVEL OF PROVEN SKILLS, RELATIONAL AND COMMUNICATION, BOTH VERBAL AND WRITTEN, ARE NECESSARY TO PERFORM THE DUTIES ASSOCIATED WITH THIS POST.

*Education and/or Experience* A recognized university degree is preferred or related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals in English.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers in English.
*Reasoning Ability:* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
*Computer Skills:* To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Contact Management systems; Database software; Internet software; Project Management software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
