*IONIA COUNTY INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL DISTRICT* *announces a position opening for the following:* *TEACHER CONSULTANT/TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PROVIDER* *Overview of Position:* The intent of the teacher consultant position is to provide teacher consultant services for the non-public schools of Ionia County.
The purpose of this position is to ensure that the unique and individualized needs of students with disabilities are met in the non-public setting.
This includes case management, assessing student needs, development of goals and instructional plans, and progress monitoring.
The intent of the technical assistance position is to support Local School Districts and ICISD Programs through the General Supervision process which includes evaluation of current performance, provision of technical assistance, and progress monitoring.
The purpose behind the position of Technical Assistance Provider is to assist schools in ensuring compliance and implementation of best practices in special education with a goal of working towards increased student outcomes.
