Please monitor the email address you included on your employment application for further instructions (including junk/spam folders)* The successful candidate will provide skilled and complex legal clerical duties for the 17th Circuit Court Case Management Department in the area of Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Duties will include assigning mediators, managing the court’s roster of mediators, scheduling case evaluations, preparing orders, case evaluation awards, and variety of other ADR related tasks.
The successful candidate will have regular contact with mediators, attorneys, and judicial staff.
This individual may also be responsible for performing miscellaneous duties for the court as needed.
Minimum Qualifications Required: High School Diploma or GED combined with post-secondary training in legal or court procedures.
or Two (2) years para-professional experience in a legal environment, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Requires skill in filing, maintaining office records and operating various office equipment.
Must be self-motivated, organized, detail oriented and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook applications.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with diverse populations are essential.
