*JOB DESCRIPTION* Job Title: Sr.
Payroll Administrator Global Title: HR ADMINISTRATION & PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR Location: Corporate – Grand Rapids, MI Department: Human Resource Reports to: Corporate Benefits Manager FLSA Status: Exempt *SUMMARY:* Reporting to the Corporate Benefits Manager, this position of Sr.
Human Resource Payroll Administrator is responsible for managing the payroll and all policies, processes and procedures related to payroll.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* Include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
• Investigates discrepancies and provides information in non-routine situations relative to payroll.
• Follows Hutchinson Safety Policies, procedures, and requirements.
• Calculates and processes the profit-sharing distributions in payroll and 401k administrators.
• Develops benefit information and census data for actuaries, insurance carriers, and management.
• Responsible for maintaining company compliance with US HR standards, federal and state laws pertaining to employee benefits, ERISA, FMLA, HIPAA, COBRA, and Section 125 plans.
• Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and reporting on the impact of any potential changes and present recommendations to top management.
• Implement new file feeds to vendors.
• Complete the semi-monthly salaried payroll for HAVS.
• Serve as the point of contact for HAVS facilities payroll hourly and salaried.
• Develops and maintain operation process manuals for HAVS and subject matter that is managed.
• Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree in human resources or business administration or equivalent; and 5-10 years of Human Resource / Payroll related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Must have good interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with the Human Resources department, and other plant and office personnel.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Must have good computer skills with a working knowledge of Coordinates Human Resource Information System, federal I-9 forms, employee benefits, and 401(K) information.
• Must understand federal, state, and local requirements in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be expert level ADP Work Force Now, E-time, and Report Writing.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Valid Driver’s License.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Ability to use word processing, spreadsheet applications.
Must be familiar with internet research, Microsoft Office software, and the use of e-mail.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.
00 - $65,000.
