*Commercial Insurance Account Processor*
*Job Description *
We are searching for communicative candidates who are proactive and passionate about company products and the clients they serve.
The commercial account coordinator will assist our commercial account managers and act as a backup to our commercial account managers.
You will build long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with the clients, always striving to find the products which best fit the individual needs of the client.
You also will aid internal departments by collecting information, such as sales leads or testimonials, assisting in the processing and analysis of client data and complaints, identifying industry trends as well as help with our social media marketing and strategies.
To succeed in this position, you should have exceptional communication, computer, customer service and problem-solving skills.
You should be resourceful, analytical, adaptable, and organized with the ability to build rapport with clients and the rest of the commercial team.
*Responsibilities, Duties & Core Skills:*
* Communicate with clients to understand their needs and explain product value.
* Build relationships with clients based on trust and respect.
* Collaborate within the commercial department to facilitate client need fulfillment.
* Collect and analyze data to learn more about consumer behavior.
* Keep accurate records pertaining to inventory and account notes.
* Maintain updated knowledge of company products and services.
* Resolve complaints and prevent additional issues by improving processes.
* Identify industry trends.
* Act as a client advocate with a focus on improving the buyer experience
* Process claims with priority and maintain communication between the adjuster and producer when needed to make sure claims are processed and taken care of in a timely manner
* Work in conjunction with the commercial account managers and producers to gather information for new business quoting and cross-selling opportunities (the producers responsibility to gather forms and collect information on new business, but account managers and account coordinators should be able to contact the producer and/or prospects to gather additional information if necessary and upon renewing) You will get bonussed for each cross-sale that is referred to a commercial producer and earn commission on sales you help facilitate
* Help process all new sales and renewals for the commercial producers with the help of the commercial account manager and communicate with the commercial producers any additional info needed.
Attach anything in our system that is significant to the account and this includes policy info when policies don’t download in our agency management system.
* Follow up with clients after renewal by email with new auto ID cards, list of certificates if needed and electronic copy of policies.
Paper copies will follow by the producer in the form of a binder or new paperwork for binders for accounts
* Process certificates and changes from companies as needed via memo or internet as required by carrier
* Learn and utilize our carrier rating systems, applications and supplement forms to provide quotes for producers for new business and renewals
* Answer and process daily service calls from insured and company underwriters.
Email isn’t always the best way to communicate so picking up the phone may be necessary
*Education*
* Minimum of high school diploma
* Insurance background is not necessary, we are willing to train a coachable and determined candidate
* Willingness to obtain State of MI Insurance License
