As an Architect I, you will develop design concepts and create accurate and complete documentation in all phases within the established design principles, project budget and schedule.
You will have the opportunity to work on a diversity of project types and scopes, within a multi-disciplinary team.
Deliver Results
• Monitor and contribute to the design process from the conceptual phase through construction administration, ensuring the design intent is consistently and properly executed.
• Utilize and encourage best use of design software/technology for presentation and production purposes, including Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, BSD SpecLink and other emerging technologies.
• Collaborate across disciplines to resolve complex technical issues, ensure integration of disciplines, and provide strategies for meeting aggressive schedules and budgets.
• Attend site-visits to expedite construction and resolve issues encountered in the field such as unforeseen conditions, code issues and interpretation of construction documents.
• Mentor and support the work of less experienced staff, including Architectural Student Interns and Graduate Architects.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from an NCARB accredited program.
• Licensed architect with current license.
• 3 or more years of professional architectural experience.
• Strong knowledge of Revit, including experience producing construction documents.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s Degree in Architecture from an NCARB accredited program.
• NCARB registration and AIA membership.
• CSI-CDT certification.
• LEED AP BD+C and/or WELL AP certification.
• Experience in Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Proficiency in SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and BSD Spec Link.
