Welder II

*Job Description* We are seeking an experienced *level II Welder* to join our team in Wayland, Michigan where we build world-class agricultural feed trailers.
This position is a good fit for individuals who are well acquainted with *mig welding aluminum* in a variety of positions.
This is a critical role that requires strong attention to detail and expertise in mig welding techniques and fabrication.
*Principle Duties and Responsibilities* * Read trailer specification sheet to understand customer requirements * Cut aluminum extrusions to required length * Use jigs and fixtures to assemble aluminum components and tack in place * Perform structurally sounds and cosmetically appealing welds in a variety of positions * Install steel sub assembly components on aluminum tank structure * Use crane system to lift hopper tank and install on bogie running gear * Work area to be kept clean and organized * Follow all safety protocols and procedures *Additional Requirements and Considerations:* * Minimum of 3 years of experience mig welding * Have own tools including welding helmet * Ability to occasionally lift over 50 pounds * Ability to climb in.
on, or around trailer structures to perform welds in variety of positions * Must be able to meet physical demands of job with or without accommodation * Ability to stand, bend and twist throughout shift * Opportunity for 10 hour shifts as well as overtime *Walinga USA* is located just north of Wayland, Michigan with easy access to 131.
