*Construction Inspector*
*Job description*
Land and Resource Engineering is looking to add a full-time Construction Inspector to its team.
The ideal candidate will conduct field inspections of contractors’ activities to verify contract requirements on construction projects.
You will work closely with the design engineer, contractors, and clients.
*Responsibilities will include:*
* Prepare Inspector's Daily Reports in Field Manager/Book.
* Develop an understanding of plans and specifications.
* Interact and communicate effectively with on-site construction contractors.
* Communication with project residents and problem solving.
* Assist Project Manager with contract requirements.
* Complete calculations, sketches, forms and other paperwork in a timely manner.
* Maintain excellent client relations.
*Requirements:*
* SESC/Storm Water Operator, Concrete and Density testing certification is preferred.
* HMA and concrete experience is preferred.
* Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel and work in the field.
* Must be motivated, detail-oriented and work well in a team environment.
* Effective written and verbal communication.
* Construction Experience is a plus.
