Overhead Crane Operator

Alliance Labor Group is assisting an International Metals distribution company in Wyoming, MI recruit for experienced Overhead Crane Operators for 1stshift that are willing to learn and cross-train in different departments.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating an overhead crane to lift, move, position, reposition loads and ensure load is safely attached to crane.
*Responsibilities for the Overhead Crane Operator include but are not limited to:* * Loading coil stock to machines for processing * Loading and unloading of truck traffic on a timely basis * Safe handling and storage of steel stock * Maintain clean area of scrap metal * Retrieving stock to be processed *Core Skills and Qualifications:* * 1 year of overhead crane operation in manufacturing or a fabrication environment * General reading and computer skills * Knowledge of steel types preferred * Ability to read and use measuring tape * Good organizational skills Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.
