*As the Automotive IT manager, you will:*
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including network infrastructure, servers, systems, and user support.
* Handle the setup of new hires in the network, phone systems, email system and office 365.
* Instruct staff in use of the dealership and manufacturer computer systems.
* Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure data security, system stability, and efficient IT operations.
* Monitor and maintain all IT systems, addressing any issues or vulnerabilities promptly.
* Collaborate with department heads to identify IT needs, prioritize projects, and align technology solutions with business objectives.
* Coordinates equipment installation and maintenance activities with appropriate department managers to avoid disruption in communications and ensures efficiency of operations.
* Ensure compliance with any and all State and Federal cybersecurity regulations.
* Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure service level agreements are met.
* Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology, making recommendations for system upgrades or enhancements to improve efficiency and productivity.
*Automotive IT Manager Qualifications:*
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant certifications are a plus.
* Proven experience (5+ years) in IT management, preferably within the automotive industry or a similar field.
* Familiar with FTC Automotive regulations required.
* Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, hardware, software, and systems administration.
* Experience with ERP systems, dealership management software, and CRM platforms preferred.
* Familiarity with cybersecurity practices, data protection, and disaster recovery planning.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.
00 - $90,000.
