Job Description:
About the Role:
The Machine Operator / Forklift Operator role at the Wayland location provides support to the Production team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant.
You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:
Competitive Compensation: earn up to $23.
45 per hour, plus shift and weekend premium! Earn more with opportunities for additional overtime! Overtime paid for hours over 8 hours in a day! Plus additional overtime premiums available! Running various food manufacturing processing equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Performing facility/work area housekeeping duties in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices and company policies and procedures
Following work instructions and processes to ensure food safety and quality
Being responsible for recognizing and reporting people safety, food safety, and/or quality issues
Important Details: This is a full-time permanent role on 3rd or 2nd shift, which operates from 12:00am through 8:00am and 4:00pm through 12:00pm, respectively.
The days off during the week will be either Tuesday/Wednesday or Thursday/Friday as we are a 24/7 operation.
About You:
You’ll fit right in if you have:
Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written
Forklift experience is required for most positions
Experience in a manufacturing environment – food manufacturing a plus
The ability to work overtime and weekends
