*Job Duty Description: *
* Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and residential buildings
* Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems
* Cut, assemble, and install pipes and fittings using hand tools and power tools
* Test plumbing systems for leaks and other issues
* Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects to ensure proper coordination of plumbing installations
* Follow safety guidelines and regulations when working on plumbing projects
*Required Skills: *
* Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
* Knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices for installation and repair work
* Ability to operate a commercial vehicle to transport materials and equipment to job sites
* Proficiency in using a variety of hand tools such as wrenches, pipe cutters, and pliers
* Basic carpentry skills to assist with framing and installation of plumbing fixtures
* Understanding of mechanical systems and how they interact with plumbing systems
* Experience in plumbing installations for new construction projects
* Basic welding skills for joining pipes and fittings
* Ability to read and interpret plumbing schematics and diagrams
* Skill in assembling pipes, fittings, valves, and other components to create a functional plumbing system
* Proficiency in threading pipes using threading machines
