Service Express is looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to maintain SEI systems and manage technical projects, in addition to providing support to end users within SEI for all technology needs.
Senior System Administrators will interface with all levels of employees, including team members in the regional offices, the corporate office, and Executive Leadership.
Here's what this position is all about:
Perform needs analysis, design, build, testing, training, documentation, and administration of specific projects as designated by IT Manager
Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Provide assistance to other IT team members with projects
Perform and monitor required change management tasks
Monitor and respond quickly to escalated issues coming from Technical Support Specialists
Complete tickets in an efficient manner maintaining high levels of communication with other team members
Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
Provide end users with training on SEI issued hardware products
Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors used for both software and hardware services
Support, maintain, upgrade, and patch all SEI servers, including but not limited to the deployment of new servers and service within core IT infrastructure; Performing administration on a wide variety of servers including, but not limited to: SAN, VMWare, SQL, Exchange, Windows and Linux
Enable a high degree of system health by regularly checking logs, anticipating problems, and fixing issues proactively
Provide disaster management assistance and proactively prepare for system disasters
Monitor and support backups and replication of server environment
Automate business processes using a variety of tools including, but not limited to: PowerShell, Bash, Ansible and Python

Proven experience with with system administration, including experience with end-user support in a help desk capacity
Proven experience with Mware or virtualization, Powershell, Scripting, Active Directory management, group policy, DNS, strong networking background, Windows and Linux server management
Exposure to Veeam, SAN technology, Phone systems, VDI, RMM tool, and Containerization preferred
Ability to assess conceptual ideas, in addition to strong critical thinking skills
Ability to manage and execute projects independently

Salary Range: $80k-$100k based on experience
