General Summary
The Product Development Coordinator is responsible for communication with design, development teams, and operations to assist with new projects, manage timelines, and complete administrative tasks.
This position works under general supervision; relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals; and requires a wide degree of creativity and autonomy to perform the job.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Work with internal operations and outside vendors to establish and maintain project timelines/schedules for new product launches.
Collaborate with internal designers, purchasing and external vendors on new product component and material sourcing.
Assist with costing analysis as needed.
Collaborate on new product presentations for sales, customers, and internal management.
Work with internal designers for the documentation and communication to marketing and sales for new product specifications, features & benefits, and assembly instructions.
Coordinate with legal on distribution, product warranties, and IP related matters.
Work to establish new product project ID’s and codes for new products and assist with new product sales reporting as needed.
Complete documentation and communication of new product specifications and information for the launch of new products.
Work with Marketing and/or external vendors to develop new product instructions.
Perform other duties as required.
Job Specifications
Knowledge Required
Requires bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent.
Two years of product development experience or project coordination experience is preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
