Triad Service Center is looking to hire an Service Assistant in our Grand Rapids location at 4550 40th St SE, Kentwood, MI 49512.
This is a full-time position with a well-established company that is continuously growing.
This person needs to have great communication skills, as well as be self-motivated to provide superior service.
Triad Service Center is a multi-state provider of parts, warranty, maintenance, and service for most makes and models of floor care equipment, and other commercial equipment.
Established in 1977, we have 46 years of experience serving the industry.
Triad is associated with Morrison Industries.
The position would be primarily Monday-Friday, Full Time around 40hrs/week.
Must be able to pass a drug screen, physical, and a background check, as well as have a valid clean driving record.
Qualifications and Skills:
Discuss Service, Parts, Repairs needed with technicians
Work through Questions and Concerns with Customers
Mechanically Inclined
Previous Working Experience with Parts
Positive, Customer Focused Attitude
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to follow through with customers, technicians and team members
Be engaging, active and organized
Computer skills, intermediate level, including but not limited to Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Word and Excel.
Comfortable having interaction with customers, on both service and sales information
The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and manage tasks to completion
Understanding work flow and process including daily necessary tasks from any of three departments which could include reviewing and approving work orders, looking up and ordering parts and helping with customer quotes
Work independently while enjoying the benefits of being a member of a team
